Starting with version 9.3.0, bhvr made significant changes to Material Instance class within their own Engine build - this means simply cooking and packaging mods that contain Material Instances in base-UE5.4.4 is now impossible and will result in crashes.
Olegshabunov created this program to fix the issue.
Usage:
Simply drag-and-drop the whole folder (for example, pakchunk1000000-Windows) with all your cooked assets onto the executable (the same way you do with UnrealPak). Also you can patch individual .uasset or .umap assets.
If console window appears for a moment and then disappears - the fix is applied. You can package your mod with DBDUnrealPak.
If the fix was applied before - all subsequent runs will not affect already patched assets.
